FilletWorks, LLC. was born out of a need for real “boots on the ground” professionals in the welding consulting space. We are not just another consulting company made up of new college graduates. We are experienced, certified, industry professionals that have spent our careers working in the field and in factories solving welding problems and creating solutions.
Meet our Leadership Team
Samuel Chance - President
Inspired by mentors in the welding industry, Sam began his career in the welding industry as a production welder, so he knows the challenges that welders face every single day. He has worked as a welding engineer, and welding project manager with extensive experience working in contract manufacturing, primarily on Aerospace and Naval Nuclear components, as well as working for OEM’s in the Agricultural and Heavy Industrial equipment industries.
He is currently serving on the AWS D17k Subcommittee and AWS B2B Subcommittee for welding code development and is the 2022 United States Delegate to Commission XV of the International Institute of Welding in Tokyo, Japan.
Kyle McNew - Vice President
Kyle has been working in the welding industry for over 20 years. He started welding on his father’s tree farm in southern Michigan. In high school, Kyle took welding career classes and soon after began working at a local manufacturing company. Kyle has held positions as Production Manager, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, and EHS Director over his manufacturing career. He has over 20 years of real-world experience working alongside welders “on the shop floor”, he’s not just another office manager; he’s an “in the trenches” leader.
His experience in production management brings a refreshing perspective as he is often the “voice” of production to ensure that we are meeting engineering, quality, AND production goals.
Marie Fell - Co-Owner & Administrative Assistant
Here at FilletWorks, LLC. Marie is the heart and soul of our office operations. She helps manage all our supplies and resources. From ordering new NDT supplies, and ensuring that our inspection equipment in properly calibrated, to answering phones calls and scheduling the services you need; she does it all.
Through years of working in the service industry Marie has honed her skills in customer service, allowing her to provide the very best care for each and every one of our clients. Our goal is to build a family of clients that keep coming back again and again, and Marie excels at building client relationships.
